With a generous credit transfer program, the American Public University System offers students more than a few options for making their educational dreams a reality. American Public University and American Military University accept up to 45 credit hours for an associate program, up to 90 hours for the bachelor's and up to 15 credits toward a master's degree. The University of Central Florida accepted the largest number of transfer students in the U.S. for fall 2016. 5. Pamlico Community College, Grantsboro, NC

Pamlico Community College has a comprehensive articulation agreement that encompasses the 16 public colleges in the state -- allowing for seamless transfer -- and offers A.A. and A.S. degree programs that are specifically designed to be transferred to schools in the UNC system.   • "Admission through Traditional Transfer Requirements" requires the applicant to have earned an associate degree or completed 30 hours of specific coursework.
  • "Admission through Freshman Requirements" allows a student to transfer into USM as a freshman as long as they meet the school's freshman admission requirements.
  • "Probationary Admission through Adult Status" permits a student aged 21 or older to enroll at USM on probation, even if they don't meet any other admission requirements.
